Frequently the Courtyard is filled with the sounds of a bard singing. However some claim to occassionally hear screaming and moaning sounds or perhaps strange movements of air through unknown spaces. The highlight of the courtyard is a fountain of beer surrounded by a stone ring bar behind which several bartenders serve. Stone chambers encircle the courtyard, each chamber full of tables and chairs, serving as gathering spots and private meeting spaces. Several passages lead to and from the courtyard. 

Overheard tidbits of conversations supply the rumor that suppossedly you can always get from one Drowning Flagon to another.
